鲇坑村是溪源乡下辖的行政村，位于乡境东北部的楚溪河畔，东与东溪村相邻，西与泰宁县接壤，村中山林广阔。[1]
地名由来[edit]
村子建在山间沟谷里，溪中有鲇鱼溯流而上，因此得名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1932年11月，村里设立鲇坑乡苏维埃政权；在反“围剿”斗争中，全村有21人参加红军和游击队。[1] 村子属「24个革命老区基点村」之一。[1]
解放前村子属东安乡，解放初为桐元区（第四区）的一部分，此后改属溪源区公所；1958年改为生产大队，1984年设村民委员会。[1][2]
荣誉[edit]
2005年，村子被三明市委、市政府评为「竹业开发十佳乡（镇）村」。[2] 鲇坑村于2021年11月被福建省爱卫办评为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
