半寮村位于建宁县均口镇南部，距镇政府17公里，与宁化县的水茜、安远两乡相邻。[1]

2024年初，村庄获「2023年福建省卫生村」称号；同年7月，又被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

地名由来[edit]

据说村名原作「大寮」。黄巢军经过时见村子起火，扑灭之后仅剩一半，于是改称「半寮」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1997年撤乡并镇，村归均口镇。[1]

1984年，村改为村民委员会；1968年为革命领导小组；1958年成为均口人民公社的半寮大队；1956年，半寮乡人民委员会隶属均口区公所；1950年设半寮乡人民政府，归第三区管辖。解放前属宁安乡半寮保。[1]

村民收入以种植业和外出务工为主。[1]
