修竹村位于均口镇北部，距镇中心约5公里，距县城约20公里。村里以种植建宁通心白莲为主，是镇内的一个行政村。[1][3]
村内的修竹荷苑是全省唯一的荷花主题国家级农业旅游示范点，2016年被评为国家3A级旅游景区。[5][3][4]
「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号，于2021年11月由省爱卫办授予本村；2022年10月，村庄被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1][2]
历史沿革[edit]
1932年底，村中建立了苏维埃政权，参加红军的村民有30多人，村庄是革命基点村。[1]
1997年，撤乡并镇，村划归均口镇。[1]
1984年改为村民委员会，1968年设革命领导小组，1958年成为均口乡人民公社下的修竹大队。1956年，村里先后设过修竹人民政府与修竹乡人民委员会，分属第三区与均口公社。解放前此地属宁安乡苦竹保。[1]
地名取自沿河两岸的竹林。[1]
经济与荣誉[edit]
2012年，农业总产值2100万元，村财16万元，村民人均纯收入8150元。[2]
2019年，村庄获评福建省「一村一品」示范村，主导产业为建宁通心白莲；2021年10月，入选福建省「金牌旅游村」名单。[3][1]
2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
