滩角村在里心镇的东南方向，离镇区约8公里。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时，此地归宾贤乡的上查保；明初改属西区银坑上查保；民国时属阜安乡，保名为滩角保。[1]

1950年此地划归第二区，设滩角乡人民政府；1956年乡政府改称滩角乡人民委员会。1958年，它组建为人民公社下的滩角生产大队，1968年变为滩角大队革命领导小组，1984年起设村民委员会，属里心镇领导。[1]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办授予该村「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号。2024年7月，村子获「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」称号，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
