人口民族[edit]
村里的开村始祖于1533年从上杭县迁来定居，至今逾五百年。[2] 新中国成立之初即设为行政村，2008年获认定为畲族基点村。[2]
地理环境[edit]
村位于闽江源头濉溪流域，属泰宁池潭水库库区范围，村内有一个畲族村民小组。[2]
经济[edit]
村中作物以烟叶、制种水稻、莲子与黄花梨为主。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
「武镇岭阻击战遗址」在红星自然村后山，位于雪山岽北侧。1934年5月，红军在此据守，阻挡从东面逼近建宁县城的敌军。[3]
文化[edit]
2024年6月，村庄入选「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。2021年11月，村庄获评「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1][2]
