茅店村位于梅口乡西部，距集镇20余公里，西与建宁县接壤，是梅口乡最边远的行政村，也是池潭水库移民搬迁村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村辖区面积13.1平方千米，下设3个村民小组，有75户279人，此数字未注明统计年份。[1]
村名的来历是：村以原驻地村得名。旧时该处是通往建宁的必经之地，先民以茅屋为居，兼营客店，故名为茅店。[1]
人口民族[edit]
村民中有一部分陆续迁往县城居住，村内居民以外出务工为主要生计；另有24户搬迁到集镇的茅店新村集中建房居住。[2]
历史沿革[edit]
宋元时，村地归崇礼乡大田里梅口保管辖；民国初至1931年属南乡。[1]
苏维埃时期（1931至1934年）设茅店乡苏维埃政府，归梅口区；1934年6月划归三区，1940年改入弋梅乡。1961年分出设立茅店生产大队，归梅口公社管辖；1984年9月4日改为村民委员会，隶属梅口乡。[1]
文化[edit]
荣誉方面，2024年7月，村获「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」命名；同月被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
名胜古迹[edit]
村内的冯家际邹氏祖屋为清代古建筑，位于冯家际自然村，列入泰宁县第三次全国文物普查登记的不可移动文物。[3]
