谢家坪村位于梅口乡东部，距乡集镇约1公里，是革命老区基点村，也是库区移民村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村辖区面积4.8平方千米，下设5个村民小组，其中3个是库区移民小组。[1]

村名取自旧时谢氏在此开基定居而形成的聚居地。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

宋元时，村地隶属崇礼乡高平里的永兴保；明洪武元年（1368年）改入同里的永兴下保。民国初至1931年间归南乡管辖。[3]

苏维埃时期（1931至1934年）村地归梅口区，1934年6月起划归三区，1940年改入弋梅乡。1950年底至1951年底，这里设过乡政府，隶属三区；1956年改属弋口区。1958年设生产大队，隶属红专公社，1959年划归梅口公社。1980年因梅口公社搬迁，库区移民迁入，村另立生产大队；1984年9月1日改设村民委员会，归梅口乡管辖。[3]

文化[edit]

荣誉方面，2021年11月，谢家坪村获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。2022年10月，村被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。2024年7月，村被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1][2]

名胜古迹[edit]

村内的谢家坪石拱桥为清代古建筑，列入泰宁县第三次全国文物普查登记的不可移动文物。[4]
