大渠村位于泰宁县中部，村名取自境内的大渠溪[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋至元代，村域属崇礼乡高平里的永兴保，明至清代改属永兴上保；民国初至1931年仍在永兴上保之内，归南乡管辖。1931年6月至1934年7月此地称铺下乡，划入大均区。1934年编入永南联保，1938年编入开永联保，都归三区管辖。1940年改属大均保，归一区西南乡；1941年西南乡改由县直接管辖。1943年分出渠源保，仍属西南乡；1944年并入渠坊保，改属炉峰镇。解放后，1951年设大渠乡，隶属一区；1956年划归弋口区，1958年成立大队，1962年划归下渠公社。1984年改设大渠村，2018年11月归属下渠镇[2]。

地理环境[edit]

耕地1225亩，林地5310亩，土地总面积6535亩；村域面积9平方公里[1]。

文化[edit]

2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」[1]。2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
