下渠村是下渠镇的驻地村，位于泰宁县城郊，属镇中心区[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

宋至元代，村域属崇礼乡高平里的永兴保；明清改属永兴上保，民国初至1931年仍归南乡管辖。1931年至1934年间为归林寺乡，划入大均区；此后先后编入永南、开永两个联保，都由三区管辖。1940年设下渠保，编入开永乡；1941年划归一区，1943年复归开永乡。解放后，1951年设下渠乡，1958年成为大队，1984年改称下渠村村民委员会，2018年11月纳入下渠镇[2]。

地理环境[edit]

村域总面积10899亩，其中耕地1775亩、毛竹863亩[1]。

人口民族[edit]

据2012年度的村情统计，全村308户、1304人[3]。

文化[edit]

县委、县政府曾在2002年至2009年间连续八年授予本村「先进村」称号；2008年，村又被市委、市政府评为「先进村」[3]。2021年11月，福建省爱卫办命名本村为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2023年2月，村列入「福建省第三批高级版绿盈乡村」名单[1]。
