洋川村属杉城镇，在县城北部，东边与长兴村相接，有泰新公路自南面连通，距县、镇所在地约12公里。辖1个自然村和6个村民小组。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
1958年此地设调洋生产大队，归红旗公社；1980年分为洋川、调村两个生产大队，归杉城公社；1984年9月设为村民委员会。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以种植业为主，80年代前主要种水稻，之后改为烟稻轮作。博雅地名网称大洋嶂是村子的一道屏障。[1]
古迹[edit]
2013年名录登记洋川车上头遗址（夏商周，古遗址）、洋川钟石寨址（元代，古遗址）和洋川饶氏祖屋（清代）。[3]
