八里桥村属杉城镇，地处泰宁金溪东南侧，距县城约4公里。东与东石村相接，北面与王石村、胜二村相连。村内共有2个自然村，7个村民小组。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

解放前此地称神光桥，1956年改称八里桥大队，改革开放后定名为八里桥村。[1]

1961年设八里桥生产大队，隶属城关公社；1984年9月设为村民委员会，归杉城镇。[2]

红军与村中旧事[edit]

1931年至1934年间，八里桥是城区设立区乡苏维埃政府的村庄之一，有三位青年参加红军，并为红军带路。[1]

交通与农业[edit]

村中有一条小河自东向西流入杉溪，省道下甘线穿村而过，农业以烟叶和水稻为主。[1]

2013年名录登记八里桥卢氏祖屋（清代）。[3]
