张都村位于余坊乡南部，距乡政府约15公里，属革命老区村。[1]

村名中的「张都」指张源都，村子是张氏族人聚居所形成的村落。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

清代时这里属张源都。苏维埃时期（1931年至1934年）村中有张都乡苏维埃政府。1939年此地为张都坑保，归隆兴乡；1941年5月又称张都保。[2]

1950年，村子被认定为「革命老区村」。1951年5月设张都乡，属第五区；1952年8月起划归第六区，1955年归大源区，1957年9月又复设张都乡。[2]

1958年，村子划入红旗公社，编为一个大队。1959年9月，张都大队成立，归万安公社，其间一度称红岩大队；1968年恢复张都大队名。1970年11月改隶余坊公社。1984年9月，大队撤销，张都村民委员会成立，归余坊乡管辖。[2]

文化[edit]

「2021年福建省卫生村」的称号，于2021年11月授予张都村，授予方为福建省爱卫办。[1]
