洋源村位于余坊乡南部，距乡政府约7公里，属革命老区村，304省道横穿村境。[1]

村名的来历是杨姓族人在一条河的源头一带聚居，故称「洋源」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村子始建于清代，属隆集都。1931年至1934年间，设洋源乡苏维埃政府；1935年改称洋源保，隶隆兴联保；1939年归隆兴乡。1950年，村子被认定为「革命老区村」。[2]

1955年10月另设东边乡，属大源区；1959年称洋源大队，归万安公社；1966年改属余坊公社。1984年9月撤大队，设洋源村民委员会。[2]

经济[edit]

村民收入以毛竹为主，村中还出产香菇与笋干。[1]
