万全乡位于福建省三明市将乐县西南部，乡境多山，金溪河穿过北部。^[2]^[3]

乡名的来历，据博雅地名网，与此地历史上处在金溪沿岸的码头位置有关：泰宁、明溪等地的土产经山路汇集于此，再装船转运往外地。^[1]

乡内古迹较多，证觉寺、良地建筑群和碗碟墩窑址都在其中。乡政府把证觉寺、良地古村落、碗碟墩古窑址、紫薇古树群和万全古码头合称为「万全五古」。^[3]

历史沿革[edit]

明代此地设阳源都与竹舟都，清代沿用明代的设置。^[1]

1934年设万全保，先后隶属将溪联保与民权乡。1950年3月设万全乡，最初隶属第四区，1955年10月改隶黄潭区。1958年，乡境内设万全大队，隶属红专公社；1959年9月改隶黄潭公社；1961年10月设立万全公社；1984年9月，公社改为乡。^[1]

1946年至1948年间，中共闽赣边地委带领游击纵队在龙栖山周边活动，并在这一带开辟了根据地。阳源村、陇源村等村都在其中。^[4]^[5]

1958年，上海闽北农场在阳源一带开办，上华、陇源、高坪等村暂时并入洋源大队；万全公社于1961年设立，这些村随后又各自划出另设大队。^[4]

乡境多山，金溪河从北部流过，气候属亚热带季风气候。^[2]^[3]

人口与经济[edit]

据百度百科，2019年末，乡辖区有户籍人口7973人，辖区面积196.3平方千米；博雅地名网所记面积为约193平方千米，人口数则为约3558人，未注明年份。^[2]^[1]

农业以水稻、柑橘为主，乡镇工业以化工和木器加工为主。^[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

证觉寺位于太平山麓，地处原称常口村的今常安村一带，始建于唐武德三年（公元620年），寺名又作证果寺。相传福州鼓山的涌泉寺仿照它而建。^[6]^[7]

良地建筑群位于良地村，由水尾木廊桥、文武庙、绪蜒厝、梁氏宗祠、后恢谷仓和月山公屋六处清代乡土建筑组成。2013年1月，它被公布为第八批福建省文物保护单位。^[8]^[9]

碗碟墩窑址位于竹舟村八担自然村一带，是金溪北侧的一处宋代瓷窑遗址，主要烧制青瓷、青白瓷和酱釉瓷。2018年，它列入第九批省级文物保护单位名单。^[10]^[11]^[12]

荣誉[edit]

2014年9月，环境保护部授予万全乡「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号。2024年1月，万全乡被命名为「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」。^[1]
