历史沿革[edit]
村中在唐代已有伍氏出过官员[1]。明万历十三年到清康熙三十三年（1585至1694年）间，这里归隆安都管辖[1]。
1946年至1948年，这里是中共福建省闽赣边地委挺进纵队的游击根据地[1]。解放前为南口乡所辖的上仰保，解放后设上仰乡，属南口区[1]。
1958年9月后，此地归红光公社，设上仰大队。1961年南口公社设立后，原大队分成三个大队；1967年又并回原大队，1970年11月复又分开。1984年9月，这里改设上仰村民委员会，此名一直延用到现在[2]。
文化[edit]
2024年7月，上仰村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」[1]。
