三班村是水南镇下辖的行政村，村名取自村民在三班巷周边聚居的情形[1]。

历史沿革[edit]

1935年此地隶桃溪联保，1950年改归新南乡，属第一区；1955年10月又划入城关区，1958年转隶红星公社[1]。1959年村地成为水南综合农场的第四管理区，1970年改属水南公社[1]。

1976年6月水南农场恢复，三班仍为第四管理区；1998年1月综合农场撤销、水南镇设立，第四管理区便改称三班村民委员会[1]。

著名人物[edit]

徐花狗（1911年至1934年）出生于三班村的一户佃农家庭，1928年后曾做船工[1][3]。他担任过县苏维埃政府的裁判部长，也做过红军侦察员[2][3]。
