黄潭镇是三明市将乐县的一个乡镇级行政单位，地处县境南部，距县城约42千米。[1][2]

镇内以农业为基础，并有矿产开发等工业，镇域内保留有一处县级文物保护单位。[1][3]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地分属黄潭、子教、义丰、瑞隆等都。1931年至1934年间设有黄潭区苏维埃政府；1934年，黄潭联保划归第二区署，1939年又改设民权乡。[1]

1950年3月，此地设黄潭乡，归第四区管辖；1955年10月改隶黄潭区。1958年10月，境内组建黄潭、祖教、泰村、谢地、将溪、大言六个大队，编入红专公社；1959年9月，红专公社改称黄潭公社。[1]

1984年9月，黄潭公社改设为乡；1995年12月，撤乡建镇，定名黄潭镇。[1]

黄潭镇于2014年9月获环境保护部授予「2012年—2013年度国家级生态乡镇」称号；2020年12月，又被福建省爱卫办认定为「福建省卫生乡镇」。[1]

地理环境[edit]

镇名取自境内金溪河的河段景象：河水深处多成深潭，沿岸则多黄色石块。金溪河横贯全境。[1]

经济[edit]

镇内农业以水稻、柑橘和茶叶为主；乡镇工业包括矿产开发、化工和木制品加工。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

该旧址即范氏宗祠，坐落于将溪村的邹州自然村，属县级文物保护单位。[3][4]
