小王村隶属将乐县白莲镇，系镇内的一个行政村，明清时期原名「小王坊」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期，此地称「小王坊」，属大里都管辖。1931年至1934年间设小王乡苏维埃政府。1950年认定为革命老区村，此后归大里乡管辖。[1][2]

1956年先后组建小王初级社、高级社。1958年9月后归红光公社管辖。1961年10月白莲公社成立时，单独设小王坊大队。1984年9月，小王村民委员会成立。[1][2]

文化[edit]

2019年12月，小王村列入国家林业和草原局公布的第二批国家森林乡村名单。2020年12月，村入选「福建省第一批高级版绿盈乡村」。2021年4月，村获命名「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」。2021年11月，村获命名「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
