大王村属福建省三明市将乐县白莲镇管辖，是镇内的一个行政村。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村名源于早年有较多王姓族人聚居于此，村落形成于明代。[1]

解放前一带称大王保，隶属白莲一带的旧建制。解放后划归第三区民主乡，1952年7月设大王乡。1958年9月后归红光公社，设为大王大队。1984年9月，大王村民委员会在白莲乡内设立；1995年起改归白莲镇管辖。[1]

文化[edit]

2024年7月，大王村获命名「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
