白莲镇隶属福建省三明市将乐县，位于县境南部。镇域东北与南口镇相接，东南、南和西面与明溪县接壤，西北与龙栖山自然保护区及黄潭镇相邻。[2]

辖区面积，据百度百科为234.2平方千米，据博雅地名网为243平方千米；2019年末户籍人口1.94万人。[1][2] 镇内的名胜古迹有红军铜铁岭战斗指挥部旧址荣光公祠、墈厚土堡等。[5][10]

历史沿革[edit]

白莲原称茶坞，宋代即以产茶著称。明代此地建有一座寺院，寺前水池遍植莲荷，寺院因此名为白莲堂，地名随之改为白莲，茶坞之名就此被取代。[1]

明嘉靖三十五年（1556年）此地建白莲公馆。1934年设白莲联保，1941年联保改为乡。1952年改为镇，1955年复改为乡，归南口区管辖。1958年设白莲大队，属红光公社；1961年10月设白莲公社；1984年改为白莲乡，1995年10月改设为白莲镇。[3]

地理环境[edit]

镇境属亚热带季风气候。[2] 据百度百科，镇境东北临南口镇，西北接龙栖山自然保护区与黄潭镇，东南、南、西三面抵明溪县。[2]

经济[edit]

农业以水稻、柑橘、茶叶和毛竹为主，乡镇工业以化工、采矿和建材为主。[1]

2021年11月，白莲镇入选「2021年福建省级森林康养小镇」名单。[1]

文化[edit]

2022年10月，白莲镇经省级农业部门认定，列为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年1月，白莲镇获命名「2023年福建省卫生乡镇」称号。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

墈厚村东侧的大排岗山腰有红军铜铁岭战斗指挥部旧址荣光公祠。1934年3月，红七军团第十九师进驻墈厚村，在铜铁岭一带修筑工事，师司令部设在荣光公祠，部队在铜铁岭伏击了前往归化增援的国民党军。[4][5]

墈厚荣光公祠别称「思敬堂」「中山堂」，建于清道光年间（1821—1850年），祠与书塾左右并列，2013年被公布为福建省第八批省级文物保护单位。[6][7]

墈厚土堡建于清咸丰八年（1858年），原名「靖平庙」，其布局为东南角碉楼、前部庭院与后部祖师殿三部分，占地874.22平方米。2009年被公布为第七批福建省文物保护单位。[8][9][10]

龙栖山银场矿冶遗址位于白莲镇龙栖山社区石排场，属宋至明代的矿冶遗存，2025年入选第十一批福建省省级文物保护单位。[11][12]

龙栖山社区内有「龙栖山红军驻地旧址（西山造纸作坊）」，属县级文物保护单位。[13]
