班州村位于高唐镇，村名「班洲」据称源于县城金沙洲边郑姓一支分居到此；「班」字在方言中与「分」谐音，明代县志中「州」作「洲」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地称班洲村，属高滩都。[1]

1958年归红星公社管辖，1961年单设班州大队，改隶高唐公社；1984年起为班州村民委员会。1950年解放初这里属第二区。[1]

文化[edit]

班州村于2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」，同年7月被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
