会石村位于高唐镇，村名指村中地下多石头，村落因此得名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地为高滩都的会石村。[1] 1931年至1934年间设会石乡苏维埃政府。[1]

1939年改属高唐乡，1950年归第二区；1959年成立会石大队，先属城关公社，后隶高唐公社。1984年9月改为会石村民委员会。[1]

文化[edit]

会石村于2024年1月被命名为「2023年福建省卫生村」，同年7月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」，并于同月获「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」的命名。[1]
