常口村位于常口溪与金溪交汇口附近，村民沿两溪群居而形成村落，村名由此而来。[1] 村内的常青旅游区是国家3A级旅游景区，村口立有村规民约碑。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此处属富谷都。[1] 1931年至1934年间设常口乡苏维埃政府。[1] 1950年代初这里归第二区管辖，属高唐乡，1958年时仍隶属红星人民公社的高唐大队，直到1962年才单独设立常口大队，归高唐公社。[1]

1984年起改设村民委员会，名为常口村，隶属高唐乡。[1]

名胜古迹[edit]

常口村村规民约碑是将乐县第七批县级文物保护单位，碑上所刻的村规民约由村民依据1997年的嘱托拟定。[2][3]

文化[edit]

常口村先后获得「福建省第一批省级乡村振兴示范村」（2025年3月）、「全国村级议事协商创新实验试点单位」（2021年12月，民政部办公厅确认）、「2021年福建省卫生村」（2021年11月）、「第一批国家森林乡村」（2019年12月）与「全国乡村治理示范村」（2019年12月）等称号。[1]
