吴厝地村是万安镇的一个行政村，村名指吴氏族人聚居之处。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明弘治十八年（1505）于县西设吴厝地，隶阳岸都；清乾隆三十一年（1766）仍归县西路的阳岸都。[1]

1931至1934年间，村内设吴厝地乡苏维埃政府。1961年10月设吴厝地大队，归光明公社；1966年另组吴厝地大队，改属万安人民公社。[1]

1984年9月，改设吴厝地村民委员会，隶属万安镇。[1]

2021年11月，村获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
