福匡村是万安镇的一个行政村。村名中的“福”指福气，“匡”指围住，合起来是被福气环绕的意思。[1]村旁原有靖公庙，早年村名为“土公村”。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

明万历十三年（1585）此地设福匡保，属县西的永吉都；清乾隆三十一年（1766）仍归永吉都管辖。[2]

1931至1934年间设福匡乡苏维埃政府。1939年以后，村属万安镇福匡保，1941年转由第二区署管辖，1945年11月改归万安乡。[2]

福匡乡在1951年11月划归第五区，1957年9月改由万安区统辖。1958年组建福匡大队，隶红旗人民公社，次年九月起归万安公社。1984年9月撤销大队，设立福匡村民委员会。[2]

2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
