翔安社区位于万安镇镇中心区，是镇里的一个社区。社区名称寓含“平安飞翔”之意，沿用至今。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

2014年12月，社区设立居民委员会，名称一直沿用至今。[1]

2024年7月，社区被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
