新华村是将乐县古镛镇下辖的行政村，属镇中心区。村址始建于唐代，宋代理学家杨时出生于此。[1]

村名原为龙池团，解放后改用现名，寓意建设新中国。[1]

村内有东北门区苏维埃政府旧址节孝坊，1931年东北门区苏维埃政府设于此处。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

这里的村落历史可上溯至唐代。明清两代隶属龙池都。宋代闽学鼻祖杨时即生于此。[1]

1935年起归龟山保管辖，1950年定名新华街，1961年改称新华大队，1985年才设新华村民委员会。[1]

2024年7月，村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

文化[edit]

东北门区苏维埃政府旧址节孝坊位于新华街模范路30号。1931年6月，红3军团第6师由泰宁分两路进攻将乐并攻克县城；月底县革命委员会建立，同时东北门区苏维埃政府在节孝坊（王厝大院）挂牌，黄大松任主席。[2]
