华山社区是将乐县古镛镇下辖的社区，属镇中心区，由两个居民委员会于2003年合并设立。[1]

社区名称来自民主与新华两个社区合并而成的聚落。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

1964年9月，民主街与新华街设立，当时隶属县直属的城关镇。1980年11月两街改归古镛镇管理，1984年9月起称居民委员会。2003年，民主与新华两个居委会整合，成立华山社区居民委员会。[1]

近年来，社区先后获得多项命名：2021年4月，获「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」称号；2022年12月，被福建省爱国卫生运动委员会命名为「2022年福建省卫生社区」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」；2024年12月，列入「2024年福建省儿童友好社区」名单。[1]
