后曲村是八字桥乡的行政村，位于乡境西部，304省道贯穿全村。村子东面与管前镇相接，北连村头村，西与下畲村、坑头村交界，距乡政府约3千米。[1][2]

村子原名「厚福」，解放初经合并后改称「后曲」。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

村址旧称延平府一都稠洋堡厚福坊，属尤溪一都。1979年11月，村子划归八字桥公社管辖，1984年定名后曲村并设村民委员会；在此之前的1958年，这里原为管前公社下辖的后曲大队。[1][2][3]

姓氏[edit]

村中杂姓混居。早先据传有陈、杨、郑、吴四派同住，那时村里牲畜买卖兴旺，一天能卖掉一头牛。[2]

清初，县内其他地方的郑氏迁入，人口占全村的八成以上；吴姓自明崇祯年间由永安迁入，人口不多；蒋、王两姓则是解放后迁入。[2]

物产[edit]

村中以毛竹为主要物产，金柑、佛手瓜也是村民收入的来源，村内另产无花果。[2]

荣誉称号[edit]

2021年4月，后曲村被命名为「2021年三明市民主法治示范村（社区）」。[1]

2021年11月，后曲村被福建省爱卫办认定为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]

2023年12月，后曲村凭无花果产业入选「2023年度福建省一村一品专业村」。[1]

2024年2月，后曲村进入「第二批福建省乡村振兴示范村镇」创建名单。[1]

2024年7月，后曲村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标六无村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标六无村（社区）」。[1]
