洪田村是八字桥乡的行政村，位于尤溪县城西北方向，距乡政府约1.5千米，村域纵横各约5千米，多为山林。村名取自辖区内「洪宅」「上田」两处地名各一字。[1][2]

宗族[edit]

村中以郑氏为大族，其中洪宅一支郑氏占全村人口的大部分。据村情页，洪宅郑氏祠堂建于明洪武七年，族中已传31代。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

文笔峰位于村内，山顶的宫殿据称创建于元朝，供奉马氏真仙，由周边十几个村落的祖境组成的七境共同修建，是七境的宗教活动中心。[2]

村中郭坑底龟形厝后门一带，有一株祖上遗下的紫荆树，树高约9米，在一米高处量得约30厘米粗。[2]

历史沿革[edit]

1958年，村中组建洪田大队，隶属管前公社。1979年11月，该队划归八字桥公社，1984年才正式定名洪田村并设村民委员会。更早的时候，村子属尤溪一都，解放初则归第八区。[1][3]

荣誉称号[edit]

2021年11月，洪田村被福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
