玉涧村西邻象山村，向东接连剑溪，交通十分便利，是一个人口较少的村落。[1][2]

村名因早年两条河在此交汇，没有桥可过，村民涉水而行，溪涧清澈，故名。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地先属尤溪二十六都；解放初归剑溪乡。1958年归象山大队，1961年析出，另立玉涧大队，1984年改为玉涧村，设村民委员会。[4]

人口与生活[edit]

全村共146户、597人，分为4个村民小组，村中党员22人，未注统计年份。[2]

村财收入不稳，负债较重。农户以粮食、烟叶、柑桔与茶叶为主要生计。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，玉涧村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
