象山村是台溪乡最大的行政村，距乡政府约20千米，距县城约35千米。城关至中仙的县道与向莆铁路穿村而过。[1][2]

村名得自村前一座状如大象的高山。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

宋时此地属常平乡和顺里，明清时属二十六都，民国时属清华乡池坛保。解放前归丁洋保，解放初划入清溪乡。[4]

1958年设象山大队，1984年转为象山村，设村委会。[4]

人口与生活[edit]

全村759户、3335人，分为两个自然村、16个村民小组，未注统计年份。[2]

村中以种植烟叶、柑桔与茶叶为主，村里成立了茶叶生产合作社。据称茶园间种植的桂花树能提升茶叶品质。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，象山村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2022年10月，象山村入选「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2022年12月，象山村被确定为「2022年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（雪蔗）。[1]
