历史沿革[edit]
此地先属二十四都，至民国时归清溪保，解放初改属清溪乡。1958年归清溪大队，1959年析出，另立西吉大队；1984年改为西吉村，设村委会。[4]
人口与生活[edit]
325户、1297人（男性671人，女性626人），分为14个村民小组，未注统计年份。土地面积16335亩，林地9830亩，耕地656亩。[2]
自然与资源[edit]
林中有红豆杉与罗汉松等国家珍稀植物，村民种植烟草、茶叶与芦柑。[2]
据博雅地名网，村中陈氏祖房为明代早期建筑，三层木结构，门作月亮形。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2020年2月，西吉村列入「第三批省级传统村落」名单。[1]
西吉村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
2024年11月，西吉村被认定为「2024年度福建省“一村一品”专业村」（茶叶）。[1]
