福廷坑村隶属台溪乡，位于乡境西南部，乡道经过村旁，距乡政府约20千米。[1][2]

村名原作“赫腾坑”，因两侧高山耸立、林木茂密、晨雾弥漫，行人感到森严，后雅化为“福廷坑”。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地早先归尤溪二十五都。解放前属福廷坑保，解放初划入腾园乡。1958年设福廷坑大队，1984年转为福廷坑村，设村民委员会。[4]

人口与生活[edit]

村中230户、1005人，分为5个自然村与10个村民小组，土地7610亩，其中农田707亩，未注统计年份。[2]

产业与资源[edit]

村中种植烟叶、油茶、茶叶，还产柑桔与柿子，销往省内外。[2]

村中硅石资源较多，尚未充分开发。村内有水电站一座。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2025年11月，福廷坑村被确定为「福建省2025年度省级“一村一品”专业村」（茶叶）。[1]

2024年7月，福廷坑村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

福廷坑村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
