山头村位于台溪乡境内的高海拔地区，海拔约780米，村落分散，全村散居于6个自然村，如吏部坑、玉井等。[1][2]

据博雅地名网，村名因村落位于高山之上而得。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

此地各部分旧时分属二十五都与二十一都：山头、壶山头、上大麻属前者，吏部坑、巫山坪、玉井属后者。解放前分属后地保与东井保，解放初归盖竹乡与东井乡。[4]

1958年并入东山大队，1959年分出，另立山头大队；1984年定名山头村，设村民委员会。[4]

人口与生活[edit]

全村275户，1300人，男性687人，女性613人，未注统计年份。低保户28户。[2]

山地面积较大，竹林、油茶与茶叶是主要的林产与经济作物，高山优质茶适宜种植，村民多外出务工。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

剑门庵又名剑门寺，建于巫山的剑门一带，所在处海拔1303.6米。[2]

此庵于唐咸亨三年（672年）创建，唐乾宁四年（897年）又经重建，据百度百科所载，为尤溪县古代三大名胜之一。[5]

庵内有五个大殿与和尚厝，1985年于原址重建，文革期间原建筑被毁。庵中留存明万历四十一年（1613年）铸的香炉与明成化八年（1472年）铸的大钟。[2][5]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，山头村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]

山头村于2021年11月获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
