莒洋村位于尤溪县东南部，在台溪乡集镇区西北方，平均海拔约320米。[1][2]

村名的来历，据称是开基始祖为山东莒县人。[3]

历史沿革[edit]

旧时属二十五都。解放前叫莒洋保，解放初改属台溪乡；1958年划归洋尾大队，1959年分出，另建莒洋大队，1984年转为莒洋村，设村民委员会。[4]

人口与地理[edit]

2008年末统计，全村人口1065人，其中男542人、女523人，共264户，辖莒洋、小坪两个自然村。[2]

全村土地9675亩，林地8366亩，森林覆盖率为86.5%，毛竹林与油茶林是主要林木，油茶面积居台溪乡前列。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，莒洋村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]
