洋头村位于台溪乡东南部，距乡政府约1.5千米，距县城约18千米。村民最初在低溪洋的上端聚居，村名由此而来。[1][2][3]

村内的洋头红军驻地旧址为县级文物保护单位，是村里的主要旧迹。[1][5]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时期此地属二十五都；解放前属丁洋保，解放初划归台溪乡。[4]

1958年归台溪大队，1959年析出另立洋头大队；1984年改称洋头村，设村民委员会。[4]

人口与地理[edit]

博雅地名网载，全村人口915人，男女分别为483人与432人，劳动力406人，未注统计年份。全村共辖6个村民小组。[1][2]

土地面积为9630亩，内含林地7630亩，耕地只有644亩。竹、油茶与茶叶被列为三大主导产业。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

洋头红军驻地旧址，又称洋头摘星堂，位于洋头村47号，为县级文物保护单位。[5]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，洋头村获福建省爱卫办授予「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2023年11月，洋头村被认定为「第三批全国乡村治理示范村」。[1]

2024年7月，洋头村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月又被确定为「2021-2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
