埔宁村位于溪尾乡西南部，与溪尾、九峰、高山、大宁、纲纪五个村相邻。县道汤城公路自东向西穿过村落中心。村名取埔兜与小宁两村各一字。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带旧属尤溪十八都；民国时此地设为埔宁保。解放后先是埔宁乡，1952年改归台溪区，1958年分出埔宁大队归溪尾公社管辖，1984年起称埔宁村。[1]

西林庵[edit]

村西与大宁村交界处有西林庵，据博雅地名网，此庙为江公祖师始殿，始建于宋绍定六年（1233年）。明天启年间（1621—1627年）被毁，明崇祯三年（1630年）重建；清代多次重修；1966年被毁，1988年在原址重建。[2]

埔阳桥[edit]

埔阳桥位于村尾。2010年，村民在原石拱桥上建成木结构、琉璃瓦顶的桥廊，长90米、宽5米，共25个单元。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2021年11月，埔宁村被命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」；2022年10月，被福建省农业农村厅认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」；2024年7月，被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
