历史沿革[edit]
明清时期此地分属尤溪十八都与二十都的部分地段，民国时期其中若干自然村分别划入秀峤、莘田与高山。中华人民共和国成立初期，此处的秀峤、莘田、长华曾并为华莘乡。其后1954年，长华从华莘乡分出，单设长华乡，1958年组建长华大队，1984年改称长华村。[1]
水电与旧市场[edit]
村中建有三座水电站，借助水能发展水电业。历史上三叉口一带的双洋桥曾是规模较大的农贸交易市场，吸引大批客商与农户前来。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，长华村被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，同月被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
