本洋村位于溪尾乡东北部，南邻湖山村，北邻洋中镇。村名的来历，据博雅地名网所载，是李姓祠堂坐落在状如凤凰展翅、形成两片洋地的中间，故称本洋。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

这一带明清时属十八都，民国时归后山头保。1949年至1955年间曾单独设乡，1956年并入湖山乡；1958年自湖山分出，设本洋大队，1984年改为本洋村委会。[1]

三台祖殿[edit]

村内山巅有三台祖殿，亦称三台庵，庙名与纪念三台云游祖师有关。据博雅地名网，庙宇始建于明嘉靖十七年（1538年），清嘉庆元年（1796年）重建，民国二十一年（1932年）重修，1993年又经修整。占地约1500平方米，建筑有祖殿、边殿、观音阁、土地庙与石笋塔，正殿主祀云游祖师。该村是全县重点旅游景点之一。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2020年2月，本洋村入选福建省第三批省级传统村落名单；2021年11月，本村获福建省爱卫办命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
