丘山村位于汤川乡西北部，在汤水溪下游，东南面与赤墓村、光明村交界，离乡政府约1.5公里。[1][2]

地名由来[edit]

村民以陈、方两姓为主。陈姓祠堂的郡号为岳阳郡，取「岳」字拆开，于是有了丘山之名。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

丘山是乡内建村历史最短的村庄，立村才二百多年；方姓早在宋代便已在此居住，但族小人少。[2]

明清时期属尤溪二十都，民国时属丘山保，解放初属汤川乡，1958年组建丘山大队，1984年改称丘山村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子三面环山，汤溪横贯全村，水尾处溪水陡降成瀑，最大的一处名为「龙潭瀑布」。[2]

村落面积约1.3平方公里，林地4612亩，农田1681亩，全村合计6293亩。平均海拔约830米，一年的平均气温在16至18度之间，年降雨量1700毫米以上。[2]

人口[edit]

经济与民俗[edit]

村中多种水稻、烟叶与反季节蔬菜，蔬菜有茭白、荷兰豆、红白蝴蝶豆、甜青椒等。山上有杉木、松木、毛竹、石竹与油茶。[2]

正月元宵有花灯会，在全乡较有名气。近年村中有老人协会，开展象棋、乒乓球、广场舞等活动。[2]

荣誉[edit]

该村于2021年11月获「2021年福建省卫生村」称号。[1]

2019年12月，丘山村入选「第一批国家森林乡村」名单。[1]

2022年10月，丘山村被认定为「第二批福建省乡村治理示范村镇」。[1]

2024年6月，丘山村列入「福建省第四批高级版绿盈乡村」名单。[1]
