汤三村在汤川乡政府的上游约1.2公里处，紧挨着珠峰村，共有4个自然村。[1]
地名由来[edit]
汤川洋面原有十个坊，本村所在的地方占了其中三坊，位于汤川河上游，故称「上三坊」。1957年，取「汤川」与「上三坊」各一字作为村名。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时期村子归尤溪二十都，民国时属汤川保，1949年归汤川乡。1958年从汤川分出，组成汤三大队；1984年改称汤三村，设立委员会。[1]
地理环境[edit]
全村土地总面积约7平方公里，耕地1683亩，林地8832亩，其中生态公益林3320亩。平均海拔840米，距县城56公里。[1]
人口与姓氏[edit]
村中有陈、张、蒋、洪、黄、李等姓。全村10个村民小组，博雅地名网载居民932人，劳动力661人，转移418人，未注统计年份。[1]
经济[edit]
村里主要出产水稻、蔬菜、茭白与木耳。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
据村中记述，前圆是汤三村内李氏聚居的一处自然村，建村已六百余年，始迁祖来自江西南昌。[2]
陈氏祖祠位于奎峰之麓，堂前有两口池塘，称为「明月潭」。[2]
荣誉[edit]
福建省爱卫办于2021年11月把汤三村命名为「2021年福建省卫生村」。[1]
2022年12月，福建省绿化委员会授予汤三村「2022年福建省森林村庄」称号。[1]
