山兜村在尤溪县东端，是县境东面的门户村落之一，与福州地区的闽清县相邻，距县城78公里。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
村名的来由与村子附近的三座山峰有关，村旁原有三株直径约1.5米的杉树，故称山兜。[1]
此地先在明清两代归十九都管辖，民国时属溪山保，解放后初期并入溪山乡。1958年起称溪山大队，1960年改为山兜大队，直到1984年才成为山兜村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村内有公路8公里，其中水泥路5.5公里；距福银高速金沙路口25公里。[1]
全村土地面积19176亩，林地15604亩，耕地2139亩。[1]
人口[edit]

名胜古迹[edit]
村中的「山兜中共地下党联络点旧址」又称山兜松林堂，是一处革命旧址，属县级文物保护单位。[1]
