地名[edit]
村子地处两溪汇合处，山水秀丽，故取名华口。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时此处为尤溪县二十三都的一部分。民国时归光华保清池乡管辖，解放初改隶三华乡。1959年，华口、光、上段三处自然村分出，另设华口大队，1984年改称华口村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村境内有金矿、银矿与高品位瓷泥等矿产，辖区内建有数座小型水电站。[2]
经济[edit]
村里以农业为主，兼营林业与家庭畜牧，芦柑、油楂与烟叶是主要作物，劳务输出也是重要收入来源。[2]
文化[edit]
村中的铸锅工艺自清嘉庆年间流传至今，陶瓷业烧造酒缸、酒瓮等器物，始于清代中期。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
村中有一株千年油杉，名为「油杉王」，已列为县级保护树木并挂牌保护。[2]
华口小学由旅美侨商刘炳麟捐资建成，村中还有群众集资重建的龙兴宫与清代古民居炉头厝。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
