华阳村位于中仙镇东北部，海拔850米，全村由7个自然村组成，村部距镇政府约31千米。[1][2]

地名[edit]

村名原由「文华」与「下洋」两个地名各取一字，称为「华洋」，后谐音写作华阳。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清时此处在尤溪县二十一都内，民国时隶属仙林乡文华保。解放初归文井乡管辖；1955年自其中分出，独立成华阳乡；1958年设华阳大队。1961年划入文井公社，次年改属中仙公社，1984年大队改称华阳村。[1]

经济[edit]

村民以农业为主，兼营副业与手工业。编棕衣、制棕床、弹棉被等传统手艺在闽北一带有名，至今仍有村民专门从事。[2]

名胜古迹[edit]

下寨土堡始建于清乾隆年间，占地约二十亩，内有大小房间两百余间。土堡围墙厚三米，墙上设有射击孔与了望窗，用于防匪防盗，兼具住宅与防卫功能。[2]

著名人物[edit]

历史上村中出过吴世裕、吴世闌、吴世枢、吴元绚等人。现代有酒泉卫星发射中心副主任于本城将军。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
