安宁村位于中仙镇东部，东面与南面和永泰县长庆乡、盖洋乡接壤，村部设在安宁自然村。[2]

地名[edit]

明代中期，村中有五姓人家共居，希望平安和睦，故取名安宁。[1]

历史沿革[edit]

明清两代此地在尤溪县二十一都境内，民国时隶属仙林乡的安宁保。1955年，村地独立设乡，称安宁乡；1958年改设安宁大队，1984年定名为安宁村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村地以中低山为主，属中亚热带季风性湿润气候，林中有红豆杉、香樟、杜仲与野生动物。[2]

经济[edit]

村中盛产毛竹，经济林以芙蓉李和油茶为主。永泰李干的名优产品有一部分在此收购制作。[2]

荣誉[edit]

2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
