吉华村位于中仙镇南部，坐落在戴云山脉脚下、吉华溪畔，中永公路穿过村部所在地。[1]

「吉华」寓意吉祥华丽。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
此处明清两代属尤溪县二十二都，民国年间设吉华保，解放初划归吉安乡。1959年，村内有几处自然村分出，另成上洋大队；1964年改名吉华大队，1984年转为吉华村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村地以中低山为主，山上有原始森林，林中出产红菇、蘑菇等菌类，以及杜仲、金线莲等药材。[2]
文化[edit]
村落民居带有典型的「八扇房」样式，楼上常建围栏，屋前多筑围墙。村中依山多有山神庙，上洋的仙妈亭每年正月十五有迎花灯闹元宵的活动。[2]
经济[edit]
村里多毛竹林，建有十几处毛竹丰产示范基地；芙蓉李种植最多，芦柑、板栗和柿子也已成园成片。竹木加工与笋业加工为村内工业的主体。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
