地名[edit]
村名来自村中的苏姓与当地的莲花峰。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
明清时此处在尤溪县二十二都之内；民国时期隶属仙林乡，称苏峰保。解放初成立苏峰乡，归台溪区管辖；1952年改入中仙区，1958年组建苏峰大队，1984年大队改为苏峰村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村境内的莲花峰海拔1005.2米，是中仙一带的名山之一。[2]
姓氏宗族[edit]
据博雅地名网所载，苏峰始祖于元朝年间（1271至1294年）由邻县德化迁入定居，至今已有七百多年。[2]
经济[edit]
村民以农业为主，兼营副业，尤以木匠工艺见长。特产有番薯、油楂（茶油），以及家庭手工草编的「苏畲席」。[2]
村民收入来自烟叶种植、畜禽养殖、油楂和芙蓉李等经济林，外出务工人员也是重要收入来源。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
下桥厝建于元至正五年（1345年）。村中的柳杉古树群已列入县级保护名树。[2]
文化[edit]
元宵节有狮灯舞，三月三有「玄天上帝」庙会，村中的祠堂、古庙、古井与古民居，与民歌、庙会和民间传说一同构成村落风貌。[2]
荣誉[edit]
2024年7月，村庄被命名为「2023年度三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」，并被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
