地名[edit]
村名中的「华」取自华山，「仙」字原写作“霞仙”。[1]
历史沿革[edit]
旧时此处归尤溪县二十二都。1952年时仍属中仙乡；1954年，中仙乡析出十个村另组华仙乡。1958年设华仙大队，1984年改称华仙村。[1]
地理环境[edit]
村境内有后亭溪与中仙溪两条溪流，平均海拔约640米，属中亚热带季风性湿润气候。[2]
经济[edit]
村里盛产水稻、毛竹、笋干、松木、杉木和松脂，特产有银杏、红菇、香菇等；矿产有铅锌矿、金矿和煤矿。[2]
名胜古迹[edit]
太华山顶有巨石似帽，山腹有天然石厅与通天溶洞。[2]
下村蛇形山上的星佑宫又称夫人宫，始建于明正德十三年（1518年），1987年复建，是县级文物保护单位。[2]
