吉木村是尤溪县联合镇东南部的行政村，村名出自古时村中树林茂盛、村民求吉祥平安的寓意，早年写作“吉树”“吉祐”，1984年改为吉木村。[1][2]

历史沿革[edit]

早年写作“吉树”“吉祐”，民国时隶属安福里十一都的吉木境。[1]

1958年设吉木大队，1984年改称吉木村。[1]

地理环境[edit]

村子处于丘陵山区，驻地海拔约100米，气候属中亚热带季风性湿润类型，村中有一条小溪。[2]

京福高速公路穿过村境，尤溪互通口位于村界附近，对外交通便利。[2]

村下辖牛眠坑、岭下和吉木三个自然村。[2]

经济[edit]

矿厂和木制品厂落户村内，村里还有村办小电站。[2]

文化[edit]

2022年12月，吉木村获福建省绿化委员会命名为「2022年福建省森林村庄」。[1]

2024年7月，吉木村被确定为「2021—2023年三明市达标“六无”村（社区）」。[1]
